Official figures show that seven more cases of coronavirus have been recorded in North Yorkshire since last Friday (20 March).

It brings the number of cases recorded in the area up to 20.

Public Health England figures show that 20 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am yesterday morning (March 23) in North Yorkshire.

They were among the 368 cases recorded across the North East and Yorkshire.
