Coronavirus: 758 more deaths in England

A further 758 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in England have died, including two in North Yorkshire.  

  • 758 people who tested positive for coronavirus in England have died in the past 24 hours. 
  • There were two deaths in the Stray FM area.   
  • It brings to total number of deaths in England to 5,655.

It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 5,655.

There was one death at Airedale Hospital and one at Harrogate Hospital.  

Patients were aged between 23 and 102 years old.  29 of the 758 patients had no known underlying health condition.  

Their families have been informed.

The figures were released by NHS England this afternoon.
