A Harrogate businesses has started a new online service to help communities work together through the coronavirus crisis.

  • 'Help Next Door' has been started by JudgeService Research, who usually specialise in surveys for car dealers.
  • They have created a new online survey for community groups to use.
  • The service matches requests for help with people who are able to offer support.

Survey and data specialists, JudgeService Research, have created a new online survey for community groups to use.

'Help Next Door' allows groups to  take requests for help from the vulnerable and offers of volunteers and support from others.   They then pair up the requests with the offers.

JudgeService MD Neil Addley said:

"Like everyone, we have been hugely impressed by the way communities have pulled together across the UK to ensure the most vulnerable have all they need.

"When we thought about the number of people needing help and those offering to get involved, we realised the scale of the work that is being done by organisers in towns, villages, cities and even companies and organisations up and down the country.

"This new service is our contribution to those grassroots organisations which are making such a difference to people's lives."

Although the service has been developed in Harrogate, it is available for use around the UK.
