Watch how the NHS Nightingale Hospital for Yorkshire and the Humber was built in just eighteen days

NHS bosses are hoping it will never have to be used, but today the NHS Nightingale Hospital for Yorkshire and the Humber opened in Harrogate.

Less than three weeks ago, the Harrogate Conventions Centre was empty. Now it's fully kitted-out to care for up to 500 coronavirus patients from across Yorkshire and the Humber.

Watch the construction process take place:

The centre was opened by Keighley's legendary fundraising veteran, 99-year-old Captain Tom Moore.

His daughter will join Nick Hancock and Will Smith on Stray FM tomorrow (Weds 22 April) at 8.30am and 4.30pm.
