Captain Tom Moore will receive another honour today.

Captain Moore, who was born and brought up in Keighley, has nearly £33m for the NHS by walking laps of his Bedfordshire garden ahead.

Last month he was made an honorary colonel at Harrogate's Army Foundation College and helped open the NHS Nightingale Hospital in Harrogate.

A plaque was also dedicated to him at Airedale Hospital and he received thousands of cards in the post for this 100th birthday.

Today he will be honoured with the Freedom of the City of London.

The ceremony will be the first one to ever take place virtually, due to the ongoing pandemic.
