There are plans to relocate Ripon Post Office to make it more accessible.

  • Ripon Post Office could be relocated to make it more accessible.
  • It would be housed in a convenience store instead of its current location on Finkle Street.
  • A consultation on the plans is running until 23rd June.

A currently vacant premises would be turned into a convenience store - which would also house the Post Office.

The new site would be located at 10 The Arcade, Market Place East, Ripon, HG4 1NZ.

The current site at 1 Finkle Street has steps.

The Post Office wants customers to give their views on the plans, with a consultation running until 23rd June.

The Post Office says the same range of services will be available at the new site.  Post Office services will be provided from three serving positions in a dedicated area of the store. There would be one screened and two open plan serving counters.
