Network Rail is urging passengers to check before they travel.  Over the weekend, engineers will be working on a project to construct a new platform at Leeds station.

The work is a key part of a £161million investment into the railway at Leeds station.

The new platform will allow more trains into the station, providing better connections for Yorkshire, and the increased capacity will help to reduce the spread of knock-on delays, resulting in more trains running on time.
