A tribute to the NHS has been formed in the skies above the Yorkshire Dales.

A pilot - who works for Hebridean Air Services - spent two hours writing the letters 'NHS' in the sky as a routine maintenance flight was carried out on Wednesday.

The pilot organised his route on a flight plan app before taking off from Leeds Bradford Airport.
