The pandemic means no show will take place this year

  • A decision was made after several talks took place
  • The organisers say the safety of the public is their main concern.
  • A date for next years event has already been announced.

There will be no Malham Show this year, with the event joining a host of others in being cancelled.

It will be returning in 2021, with August 28th the date for the next event.

The Chairman Phil Hargreaves in a statement said

"We’re really sorry to disappoint you all but we’ve decided to cancel Malham Show this year. Our trustees and officers have closely monitored COVID-19 developments and feel it’s not possible to go ahead.

The safety of our visitors, exhibitors and volunteers is our main concern. After various discussions with the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and organisers of other local shows we have decided there is no other responsible alternative.

Thank you for your ongoing support and interest. We look forward to creating next years’ show which will be held on Saturday 28th August 2021. Please join us if you can."
