A business in Harrogate is making facemasks - with money raised going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service.

  • The masks, made by nipNstitch, cost £5.
  • Orders can be made online.
  • The target total is £500 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The nipNstitch alterations business in Harrogate started making the masks a few weeks ago.

Facemasks for dolls and the tooth fairy are also being made to help children understand the use of the item.

Natalie Julia from NipNStitch, said:

"We're making them for children and adults.  The cost of them covers the fabric costs, and a little bit extra to be able to fund fabrics to make them for care homes. 

"I'm also holding a competition to encourage the donations.  Every £5 that's donated you'll be entered into a draw to win a memory blanket."
