Two more patient deaths from coronavirus

  • NHS figures have revealed there have been another two coronavirus deaths at Harrogate District Hospital.
  • The patients, who tested positive for COVID-19, died on Friday (12 June, 2020).
  • It brings the total number of deaths at the hospital to 75.

Two further patients, who tested positive for coronavirus, have died at Harrogate District Hospital.

It brings the total number of deaths at the hospital to 75.

NHS England reported the deaths on Friday (12 June, 2020).

A Department of Health spokesperson statement reads:

"A further 27 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,954.

Patients were aged between 50 and 101 years old.

Two patients (aged between 77 and 96) had no known underlying health conditions. 

"Their families have been informed."
