On Saturday afternoon, they'll take on Boreham Wood in the National League play off semi finals.

  • It's been described as 'probably the biggest game in the club's history'
  • If Harrogate Town win, they'll be going to the final at Wembley, with victory there securing their place in the football league
  • The coronavirus pandemic means the game's being played behind closed doors, but it will be shown live on BT Sport

Harrogate Town are making the final preparations for what's been described as 'probably the biggest game in their history'.

Tomorrow, they take on Boreham Wood in the National League semi final play offs at the CNG Stadium.

A win would mean a trip to the final at Wembley, with victory there securing their place in the football league.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic means fans won't be able to watch Town in person, but the game will be broadcast live on BT Sport, with kick off at 2.30pm.

Jordan Ford from the Harrogate Town Supporters Club said:

"Absolutely massive game, probably the biggest game in our history. It's a shame how it's going to be, but we're hoping to make the most of it. It's on TV so we can still watch the game and support the team. We are still very much behind the lads, it's going to be a really good day.

"The season has just been getting better and better. There was probably a bit of a slow start with lots of new players coming in, but since November time things have certainly picked up. It's been really good football to watch, the results have been great, which is represented by where we are in the league. I just hope the gap of a few months hasn't put a halt to how well we're doing."
