Knaresborough has plenty to shout about.

Its many claims to fame include the Great Knaresborough Bed Race and Mother Shipton's Cave, which is thought to be England's oldest tourist attraction.

The town has a wide range of independent shops, more than 20 pubs and a market is held there every Wednesday.

It is also home to England's oldest chemist shop which opened in 1720.

Maurice Bardon, President of Knaresborough Chamber of Trade and Commerce, explains why business is so good and how it could be even better:
