Roxanne Pallett won't be returning to North Yorkshire radio show

Roxanne Pallett (002)

After her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, Roxanne Pallett will not be returning to her North Yorkshire radio show.

The former Emmerdale actress walked out of the CBB house on Friday night after accusing Ryan Thomas of punching her.

She's since apologised and in an interview with the show's host Emma Willis last night, said she had got the situation "massively wrong".

It was the second time she's apologised, after earlier telling Channel 5's Jeremy Vine how sorry she was on his programme.

Roxanne joined Minster FM earlier this year.

The station has issued a statement:

As a result of discussions today with her representatives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.

Roxanne will not be returning to Minster FM.
