Midfielder Luke Dean has rejoined Harrogate Town.

The former Bradford City player will be available for Saturday's season opener against Tamworth.

Dean originally signed on loan for Town in 2011 when he joined from Bradford City.

He made an instant impact by scoring on his debut against Worcester City.

Following his release from the Bantams in 2012, he moved permanently to the CNG Stadium and made a total of 35 appearances - scoring six goals in the process.

His release from Town at the end of the campaign took a lot of people by surprise and he spent the 2013-2014 season at both Bradford Park Avenue and Workington.

Determined to get a contract back at Town, he has put in great, composed performances this pre-season, including scoring goals against Leeds United U21s and Worksop Town, and this has convinced manager Simon Weaver to sign him again.
