Elite players from across the world will be heading to Yorkshire for the second Aegon Ilkley Trophy.

Professionals ranked within the global top 100 will compete alongside the next generation rising through the ranks at the Challenger event, which takes place from 11 to 19 June.

Australian Jordan Thompson, currently ranked 94, and Taipei's Yen-Hsun Lu, who is ranked 95, lead the pack of 22 players who have now registered to take part.

Players returning to Ilkley include last year's runner-up, Australian Matthew Ebden.

Other players to watch out for include former junior world number two Bjorn Fratangelo, Grand Slam championship doubles finalist Igor Sijsling and member of the Swiss Davis Cup team, Marco Chiudinelli.

Stephen Hepplewhite, Chairman of Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, said: "I am delighted to see such a strong line-up of top class players from all over the world coming here to Ilkley.

"We look forward to providing players and spectators alike with another memorable tournament from our newly improved facilities and, of course, showing them a warm Yorkshire welcome."
