It'll be a big day for a Harrogate family when England's footballers take on Serbia in a women's Euro qualifier tomorrow.

Former Rossett pupil Rachel Daly could earn her first England cap.

The 24 year old, centre-forward has been chosen in Head-coach Mark Sampson's latest squad.

She currently plies her trade in the professional league in America for the Houston Dash.

Rachel started out as a 9 year old playing for Killinghall Boys, before spells at Leeds United Ladies and Lincoln Ladies lead to a scholarship in America at St. John's University

Step-dad Mark Wilson will be at the game at Wycombe's Adams Park tomorrow cheering her on.

He said, "I think I'll shed a tear or two. After all these year of going up and down motorways and all the hard work that's been put in it's all paid off."
