Everything you need to know about the final day of the cycling for the UCI Road World Championships, as Harrogate is the end point for the Men's Elite Road Race.

  • The cycling concludes on Sunday 29 September 2019.
  • The Men's Elite Road Race starts in Leeds and finishes in Harrogate.

  • The route takes in Yeadon, Otley, Ilkley, Addingham, Skipton, the Yorkshire Dales, Masham, Ripon, Ripley and Killinghall.

Where and when are the roads closed for the UCI Road World Championships on Sunday 29 September?

There will be a number of road closures throughout the day, with the longer closures being in place around central and western areas of Harrogate.

As those who've experienced the Tour de Yorkshire will know, cycle races involve short rolling road closures along the route. These normally start to come in around 30 minutes to 1 hour before the race is due through, and then re-open shortly after the race has passed through (usually within 15 minutes).

Where can I watch the cycling at the UCI Road World Championships on Sunday 29 September?

The UCI World Championship Fan Zone will also be open from 08:00 - 20:30, including views of the finish, televised race action on the big screen, entertainment and loads of stalls. The Fan Zone will be located on the West Park Stray.
