Skipton fundraiser pulls in pots of cash

A Skipton woman has raised more than £8,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by rowing a million metres.

Jo Moseley took on the charity challenge after losing her mum, Barbara, to cancer in December last year.

Her dad has also suffered from breast, bowel and skin cancer.

Jo completed the challenge with a marathon row of 42,195 metres at Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club on Sunday.
