An 82-year-old, from North Yorkshire, faces two counts of indecent assault and one count of buggery.

Both men are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Friday 12 June.

The charges relate to incidents at Whinmoor Children's Home in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

The men were arrested as part of Operation Polymer, which is an ongoing investigation into abuse at children's homes in the city.

Eleven other men have been arrested and are currently on police bail.
