A climber has been taken to hospital after falling at Brimham Rocks near Pateley Bridge.

The 43-year-old man suffered spinal injuries when it happened on Friday.

Members of the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association carried him to a waiting ambulance.

On Sunday, they responded to reports of a mountain biker with suspected spinal injuries after crashing near Skipton.

The 28-year-old man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.

As the team packed away their gear, they received a call to another mountain biker near Norwood Edge.

The 46-year-old man had suffered a broken collarbone and was airlifted to hospital.
