North Yorkshire County Council says teaching kids safe cycling is the key to reducing accidents.

A year on from the Tour de France, we revealed nearly 60 cyclists have been involved in a crash whilst riding the Grand Départ route since October 2013.

North Yorkshire County Council's 'Bikeability' course gives children the skills and confidence they need to ride their bikes on our roads.

10 and 11-year-olds at Moorside Junior School in Ripon have been taking part.
