More people are being encouraged to have their say on North Yorkshire County Council's health and well-being strategy.

It's updating the existing plan and has put together an online questionnaire to find out what everyone thinks of its proposals.

The draft strategy is focusing on areas such as childhood health, living healthier lifestyles and issues including loneliness and isolation.

County Councillor Clare Wood, Chairman of the Health and Well-being Board, said: "The consultation has been running for three weeks now and so far we have received some valuable comments and feedback, which we will consider carefully before finalising our health and well-being strategy.

"We are very keen to hear from as many people as possible before the consultation ends on 19 August, so please read our draft strategy if you haven’t already done so and tell us what you think of it. Your views really matter to us."
