More heavy rain has resulted in flood warnings being issued for rivers including the Nidd, Ouse, Swale and Ure.

It means that flooding is expected and immediate action is required.

The Environment Agency has also issued several flood alerts, which means that flooding is possible and people should be prepared.

Light rain was forecast for the Wharfe Valley and parts of the Dales until around lunchtime, whilst the Harrogate District is expected to stay largely dry.
