It's all back to normal on Bogs Lane in Harrogate, after an unexploded shell was found in a garden.

Sergeant Andy Graham, of North Yorkshire Police, has been telling Stray FM more about what happened:


Masham is at risk of losing its last remaining bed and breakfast.

The owners of Millgate B&B say they're planning to sell up due to family commitments.

If the new owners don't continue running it as a B&B, it will mean the town has lost 14 beds in various accommodation over the last three years.

Here's the unexploded shell found in a garden at a property on Bogs Lane in Harrogate earlier today. 




Good news - the police cordon has been lifted on Bogs Lane in Harrogate and people have been allowed to return to their homes. 

We understand the unexploded shell was found in the garden of a property at around 1.10pm.  

Bogs Lane and Kingsley Road have also reopened.

Police have given us an update on the ongoing incident on Bogs Lane in Harrogate.
