Epic Run Sam passes halfway stage

Skipton’s 'epic runner' has passed the halfway stage of his challenge – to run 2,500 miles around the coast of England, Scotland and Wales.

Sam Boatwright, an ex-sailor, is raising money for Help For Heroes. He’s already passed his initial total of £4,000 and has now set a new fundraising total of £20,000 for the charity.

To complete the challenge, he has to run at least 50 miles every day for 50 days.

Stray FM spoke to Sam on day 26 of the Epic Run to find out how he's doing:
